  • Digital Marketing & PR Executive, Courtleigh Hospitality Group — cross-property work for The Jamaica Pegasus & The Courtleigh Hotel & Suites (web, SEO/SEM, social, CRM, multimedia).
  • Yello Media Group (various roles) — social, search solutions, and social media management.

How I found my voice

I’ve always been fascinated by communication — not just speaking, but conveying something that connects and lingers. As a kid, I read dictionaries and thesauruses (self-professed logophile) to widen the pool of words I could pull from.

A behind-the-scenes feature on the Madagascar DVD flipped a switch: stories aren’t magic — they’re made, frame by frame, by people. That changed everything and set me on a path to make stories, not just watch them.

School years were a loop of experimenting — stick-figure comics that friends borrowed to see what happened next, then writing that started winning poetry and short-story competitions. Through all of it, I learned people were drawn to the narrative.

Marketing arrived as “strategic storytelling.” Even before I knew the term, I was pitching ideas — and later discovered a formal path that has taken me on a journey across content creation, digital marketing, and brand strategy.
